Working Lands Initiative
Thursday, February 4, 2010
Dear Supporters--Learn more about the Working Lands Initiative in our County and help shape the potential program here.
The WLI can be either a benefit to family farm enterprises or a welcome mat for large agricultural production and processing factories depending on local zoning. All those interested in shaping their local town and county policies regarding this new initiative should attend this workshop. It is being held to help local planning and zoning committees make better decisions on how they might participate in this new program which has completely changed the old Farmland Preservation Program in Wisconsin.
